Over 60's Club

The Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 2:30pm in the Village Hall, where all are new members are made very welcome.

Wolvey Over 60's Club is very active, and enjoys a busy programme of activities. To give you an idea, in 2006 the following events were held;

• A Skittle afternoon at the Bowling Club with a fish & chip tea.


• A second Skittle afternoon held in conjunction with Brinklow Over 60's.


• A trip to Webb's of Wychbold Garden Centre followed by a stop in Stratford for tea and a stroll.


• An April coach holiday to Dunoon in Scotland.


• A 1940s day at Bridges of Worcester complete with ID Card and Ration Pack for a carvery meal with period entertainment.


• A 5-star day trip to Evesham with a guided tour of the museum, a river trip, and cream tea.


• A tour of the "Black & White" villages of Herefordshire with lunch and tea in Dilwyn.


• A trip to the Cotswolds including a Steam Train Ride from Cheltenham to Broadway for lunch and a leisurely afternoon.


• A coach holiday in Torquay.


• A Christmas lunch (in November!!!)


• A Carol Service in the Baptist Chapel.
