John Hawkins - Councillor
John Hawkins works for Dennis Eagle in Warwick as a Design Engineer, has lived in the village for most of his life, and is married (to Angela). They have 4 grown up children (Rachel, Suzannah, Tracey and Robert) and a lovely grand daughter (Abbi).
John takes an interest in most village activities and is active (too active according to Angela) in several of them. He was asked to join the Parish Council in 2002 and
was Chairman from 2005 to 2009.
He is heavily involved in the running of the Playing Field and has been on the committee for more than 30 years, he was Chairman for several years
and is currently Vice Chairman.
His other passion is Cricket, he joined the Village Club in 1970 at the age of 15 when the Club was reformed. He is involved in all aspects of the Club, he is currently Chairman and has been Groundsman and Bar Steward since 1978, he is also a qualified coach and helps with the Clubs junior teams.
