The Revel C of E Primary School
The Revel C of E Primary school was formed in September 1996 following the
closure of four village schools - Brinklow CE (Controlled) First, Brockhurst
CE (Aided) Middle, Harborough Magna CE (Controlled) First and St Joseph’s RC
(Aided) First Schools.
The new school serves the same
extensive rural area with a large number of villages and rural communities.
This area is easily accessible to the motorway network and the major towns
of Rugby, Coventry and Nuneaton (map enclosed). The new school will
continue to build on the informal ecumenical links developed across the
Revel area. The nurture of both Roman Catholic and Anglican children
is provided at the new CE primary school.
The Revel school has been established in the village of Monks Kirby where
there are junior and infant departments in both modern and Victorian
buildings. There is also an infant annexe in Brinklow, in the
Victorian buildings of the old village school. The children at the
annexe link with those at the main school, joining together at least once a
month.
The school in Monks Kirby is set in large attractive grounds with an
