Its main service each week is a celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion) at 9.30 a.m. each Sunday morning, except for the fourth Sunday in the month when there is a “Worship for All” service. If there is a fifth Sunday in the month members of the other churches in the group join the congregation for a joint service also at 9.30 a.m.

There is a small Sunday School that meets in the Millennium Building at 9.30 a.m. except for the fourth Sunday in the month when they join with the whole church.

We have an active choir to assist with the worship and a team of bell ringers who keenly make our bells ring out to the glory of God.

There is a Parish Office on the 1st Tuesday of the Month between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Millennium Building where enquiries can be made concerning baptisms and weddings at any of the churches in the group.

Enquires concerning confirmation or instruction in the Christian faith should be made to the vicar. An Alpha Course will be running in Wolvey in the Autumn to which we extend a welcome to all who are interested in exploring the faith.

The Millennium Building in the church grounds can be hired for meetings and small function having excellent facilities.

Entry to Wolvey Church
Wolvey is very fortunate in having a beautiful medieval church which is often visited by people from all over the world. Sadly it is not possible to leave the church open and unattended all of the time, be we do want it to be possible for people to see inside as much as is practicable. The church is often open for people if the Revd. Terry Colling is around, but Gerry Court (Churchwarden) on 01455 220013 is available during most weekday mornings and Peggy York (Deputy Churchwarden) on 01455 220775 is often around and both are willing to open the building for viewing. These numbers are on the notice board in the church porch.
